HonorBound is the Men's Ministry of the Assemblies of God as well as our local title.  Our world is filled with fatherless homes, and many times where fathers are present they are on one end abusive or on the other end untrained in what it means to be a Godly husband and father.  One of the main targets of our local men's ministry is to build men both young and old in leadership.  As righteous men trained in what it means and what it looks like from God's Word to be a leader in the home, church and community, we will have an impact on the next generation in positive ways, that will eventually change a culture.  So this means we desire to grow in such a way as to be able to mentor young men as many of us did not have such men to speak into our lives.

We are engaged in an on going discipleship program called Armorbearers, which is a study of  8 to 10 books written by men of God, which will help us to be who Father God designed us to be.  Authors include, Edwin Cole, Stu Webber, Stan Moser, Tony Dungy and Patrick Morley just to name a few.

Our men meet twice a month the first Saturday for breakfast at the church and then the third Sunday night at various homes for dinner and a time of sharing testimonies, prayer, and sometimes games and at times Bible study. As well our men’s ministry spearheads an annual Wilderness Family Retreat in the Summer.  Men of Hope serve in the Ushers ministry, maintenance, as well as teach classes, and engage in ministry outside the church in our community in various and construction projects.

  • The State Men's Ministry offers two main annual events for men to gather and worship and play as well:  In the Fall Men's Retreat in Prescott and:
  • A Men's Eve t at alarge Church in either Phoenix or Tucson mid-winter.

Come join us in our quest for Righteous Manhood and Accountability.
