The Women's Ministry at Mount Hope Assembly of God is an exciting and growing part of the church. We are developing many new and exciting areas of service and ministry and are seeking out those who want to be a part of reaching, touching and encouraging lives with the Gospel of Christ.
The purpose of Women's Ministry is to:
* Reach women through the transforming power and love of Jesus Christ
* Disciple women to follow Christ's example and live overcoming lives
* Build wholeness and balance, both spiritually and mentally through consistent prayer and
study of God's Word
* Provide an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, abilities, and lasting relationships
* Train women to find their places of ministry so that they can effectively touch their world
for Christ
Women's Ministries is a vital part of Mount Hope Assembly of God as we focus on intercessory prayer, feeding programs, Bible study, outreaches, luncheons, and socials.
Jeremiah 29:11 ~ "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
WM's Ministry Verse:
Isaiah 61:1-3 ~
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
