Psalms 119:11Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against you. AMP
Trusting God gives us peace that passes human understanding. In order to trust Him, we must know Him. Scripture gives us knowledge about God and how to live for Him. A love letter from God to us. In order to know God, we must study His Word. Psalms 119:105 your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light to my path. (AMP) God’s word is like an owner’s manual for us. It gives us our identity in Christ. {(Who we are in God’s eyes) It feeds us Manna from heaven just like God fed the Israelites each day in the wilderness to sustain them. It is truth from God, our Creator and Father who desires a relationship with us. As we study the word, the Holy spirit helps us to understand the Bible and gives a hunger for more. It reveals the nature and attributes of our heavenly Father.
Psalms 28:7 The Lord is my Strength and my {impenetrable} Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore, my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. (AMP)
