October 6 - Deliverance

The evils of this world cannot be compared to the glories of the kingdom of God. Evil is a seductive force that once succumbed to can’t be broken without supernatural intervention. Christians are not immune from the attacks of these evil forces but, when taken captive we are able to humble ourselves, confess our guilt and repent.

What an amazing God of mercy who could know even before I was born that I would need an advocate or retainer. Salvation is a one-time decision, b the need of a Savior is lifelong. When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord, we are justified. Our walk on earth as a Christian is a process of sanctification until we are ushered into the presence of our Lord when we will be glorified.

Walking in the flesh will result in bondage to evil, eternal separation from God will be your end. Walking in the Spirit will result in eternal union with the Lord of Lords and King of Kings whose reign will never end.
